What colour wedding dress to match Stewart tartan kilt? - stewart tartan

I'm getting married in 2010, probably in the autumn. I have never seen a white / off-white dress and I like the idea of a dress in bright colors. However, my husband will be wearing a kilt Stewart (http://kiltstore.net/tartan/Stewart-Roya ... and I have no idea what color would work with him.

A Friends Mom is my dress, by free hand of the fabric in the color.

I like the idea of a silver / but is not sure he would.
